I was a revenue management (“RM”) analyst for American Airlines for three years between college and law school. The RM department is responsible for pricing and booking strategies, including strategically overselling flights. I enjoyed the analytical work and learning from diverse teams. And, of course, I loved the travel perks most of all. My first job ever was caddying at a local country club. I made a ton in tips that summer! What do you love most about Weil? The people! Weil is a special place where the attorneys and administrative professionals are smart, hardworking and incredibly successful but also down-to-earth and good colleagues. I have had great mentors and friends during my time here. If starting or growing a family is important to you, you just have to do it when the time feels right for you. “ ” How has your family grown throughout your career? I had both of my children while practicing at Weil. My first daughter, Charly, arrived when I was a 5th-year associate. My second daughter, Olivia, joined us when I was counsel. Associates often ask me if there is an ideal time to start a family while practicing law. The answer is no. Parenthood is a fun and unpredictable ride, and so is practicing law. There is not a perfect time to slot one into the other. If starting or growing a family is important to you, you just have to do it when the time feels right for you.
