BOSTON/NEW YORK, June 2, 2025: International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that Liza Cotter has returned as a Privacy & Cybersecurity partner in the Firm’s Technology & IP Transactions practice, based in the Boston and New York offices. She will work alongside Olivia J. Greer, Weil’s Head of U.S. Privacy and Cybersecurity.

Liza advises clients across industries on a range of global privacy, data protection and cybersecurity matters. She focuses her practice on counseling clients regarding compliance with privacy regulations and the development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies, negotiating corporate transactions as well as commercial technology and data sharing agreements, assisting clients in connection with cyber and data incident preparedness and response and handling regulatory investigations related to data processing and data security.
Liza joins from Cooley LLP in Boston. She was previously a lawyer in Weil’s Technology & IP Transactions practice.
