Caryn Stafford is counsel in Weil’s Real Estate practice and is based in New York.
Caryn's practice focuses on traditional real estate law, including acquisitions, financings and dispositions of interests in office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, industrial properties and land development projects as well as joint venture agreements. She handles a wide range of commercial real estate loans, leases, development projects, purchases, sales, restructurings and other transactions for purchasers, sellers, secured lenders, investors and borrowers. She has closed loans secured by shopping centers, office buildings, hotels, apartment buildings, mixed-use projects and other real property in portfolio and single-asset transactions in New York and nationally.
Caryn has negotiated numerous commercial leases, including shopping center leases, office leases, retail leases, subleases, non-disturbance agreements and related transactions, including long-term ground leases.
In her pro bono practice, she has most recently represented New Heights Youth, Inc., New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, YAI Network, Birthright Israel Foundation, Edesia Nutrition, Volunteers of Legal Service (VOLS) and March of Dimes Foundation.
Caryn is a member of the American Bar Association.
