Greg Danilow retired from the partnership in 2019. He was a member of Weil’s Securities Litigation practice, where he focused on securities, class action and derivative litigation, as well as counseling Boards, Board committees, and directors on corporate governance, securities, disclosure, and transactional matters. Greg’s practice also included litigation involving contests for corporate control, and a broad spectrum of complex business disputes at the trial and appellate levels, as well as representation in regulatory proceedings.
Greg lectures on securities law matters, including such topics as class and derivative litigation, fiduciary duties of directors and insider trading. He was recognized for his work in the securities litigation and corporate governance areas in Chambers USA, Benchmark Litigation, and Best Lawyers in America. He also was regularly recommended by Legal 500 for his work in M&A litigation.
Greg graduated from Lehigh University and Fordham University School of Law, where he was an editor of the law review. Greg was law clerk to the Honorable John M. Cannella, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York.
