Kate Belsito
Kate Belsito is an associate in Weil’s Employment Practice Group, where she focuses on a broad array of labor and employment law matters in federal and state courts, and before arbitral panels.

Kate has been part of the teams advising on the following matters:

  • Blue Star Innovation Partners, along with institutional co-investors, in its acquisition of eMinor Inc.
  • ChampionX Corporation in its pending sale to SLB
  • Goldman Sachs in its $1 billion equity investment and subordinated debt financing in World Insurance Associates LLC in a transaction that valued World Insurance at $3.4 billion
  • Iron Mountain Incorporated in its acquisition of Regency Technologies
  • The Home Depot in its pending $18.25 billion acquisition of SRS Distribution Inc.
  • Kainos Capital and Evriholder Products, LLC in Evriholder Products’ acquisitions of Axe Holdings, LLC and Home Sweet Home Holdings, Inc.
  • The Kroger Company in its pending sale of Kroger Specialty Pharmacy to CarelonRx Inc.
  • MarketAxess Holdings Inc. in its acquisition of Pragma LLC
  • mPulse Mobile, Inc. (a portfolio company of PSG) in its acquisition of Decision Point Healthcare Solutions LLC and HealthTrio, LLC
  • PSG in its investment in Packback Inc.
  • Sunoco LP in its pending approximately $7.3 billion acquisition of NuStar Energy L.P.
  • TruArc Partners (f/k/a Snow Phipps Group) in its acquisition of Trademark Cosmetics, Inc.
  • Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. in its sale of AT&T SportsNet Southwest to Houston Astros and Houston Rockets
  • Wex Health (a subsidiary of Wex Inc.) in its $180 million acquisition of an Ascensus Health & Benefits line of business from Ascensus, LLC

Kate serves on Weil teams representing global companies in employment contract disputes, and advising on employment issues in corporate and restructuring transactions.

Kate received her J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she was a Senior Articles Editor of Cardozo International & Comparative Law Review. She received her B.A. from Boston College, Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.
