Restructuring partner Candace Arthur has been recognized as one of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s “40 Under 40” for 2023. The annual award honors insolvency professionals under the age of 40 who are setting the standard for excellence in the field.

Candace’s accomplishments include advising well-known companies in major restructurings and bankruptcies, including AMC Entertainment Holdings, Insys Therapeutics, J.Crew Group, Sears Holdings Corporation and Lehman Brothers Holdings.

The honor is the latest accolade Candace has received recently. In just the past three years, she has been named a “Rising Star” by several publications, including Law360 and IFLR100, and in 2023 was chosen among Crain’s New York Business’ “Notable Women in Law” and The Deal’s “Top Women in Dealmaking.”

American Bankruptcy Institute selected the honorees from a pool of more than 200 nominees from across the restructuring industry. The honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony in Scottsdale, Arizona on December 1.
