Our Initiatives

Weil’s industry leading social responsibility programs include year-round charitable contributions to nonprofit organizations, public-private partnerships, scholarships for higher education, nonprofit board service, and year-round volunteer opportunities and cause related events on firm time and outside of work hours.

Charitable Giving

Charitable giving has been a pivotal part of Weil’s social responsibility platform since the Firm’s inception. Today, Weil is proud to support hundreds of U.S.-based nonprofit organizations through the Firm and Weil Foundation, including disaster and medical relief agencies, social and legal service organizations, and many more.

Weil Scholarship Program

As part of Weil’s ongoing commitment to education, the Weil Scholarship Program awards up to $10,000 per student toward higher education expenses for dependent children of Weil U.S.-based administrative staff on an annual basis.

Weil Legal Innovators Program

Weil Legal Innovators is a multi-stakeholder philanthropic initiative which engages rising law school students in addressing some of the most pressing social and legal challenges in our communities today. Innovators work at leading nonprofit organizations for a one-year paid fellowship program prior to beginning their law school careers.

Weil has developed an award-winning Corporate Responsibility & Inclusion initiative in the London office, which enables partners and employees to use their time and skills to tackle a range of social issues that impact the economic mobility of its clients, people and communities.
