Weil’s Patent Litigation and Life Sciences practices Co-Head Edward Reines has been profiled among the “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” in California for 2023 by the Daily Journal.

The publication highlighted Edward’s recent win for CareDx against competitor Natera in a case in which a jury in Delaware federal court found that Natera intentionally and willfully engaged in false advertising in the promotion of its kidney transplant rejection assessment test, and awarded CareDx $45 million.

Edward’s trial win for Bio-Rad Laboratories against 10X Genomics, which resulted in a $24 million jury verdict for Bio-Rad, also was noted.

This is the fourth consecutive year Edward has received this honor from the Daily Journal.
