Global Litigation Department Co-Chair Elizabeth S. Weiswasser was named “Intellectual Property Litigator of the Year” at Benchmark Litigation’s 2024 U.S. Awards, which recognize “the country’s most distinguished litigators and their firms.”

Benchmark Litigation presented Elizabeth with the honor at an awards ceremony on March 13 in New York City after selecting her from a shortlist that included four other nationally-recognized intellectual property litigators. The publication has recognized Elizabeth for many years, including among its “Top 250 Women in Litigation” list every year since 2018.  

Liz is lead counsel on behalf of some of the most sophisticated pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies in the world, both in federal courts and in inter partes and post-grant review proceedings before the U.S. Patent Office. She has led patent cases across the full range of biopharma technologies, including biologics small molecules, formulation and drug delivery.
