Elizabeth S. Weiswasser, Co-Chair of Weil’s global Litigation Department and Co-Head of Weil’s Patent Litigation and Life Sciences practices, was included on the PTAB Bar Association’s Women’s Committee’s list of the Top 50 Women in PTAB Trials for 2021.

The list, released in March 2022, recognizes the 50 most active female practitioners before the PTAB as of 2021 for petitioners, patent owners and overall. The Association’s Women’s Committee compiled the list based on data provided by DocketAlarm.

The PTAB Bar Association also released its Women at the PTAB report, which details additional statistics for female practitioners appearing in PTAB trials, including for law firms and companies participating in PTAB proceedings in 2021. The report recognizes Weil among the top 500 firms with women attorneys appearing most often in PTAB proceedings, including among the top 100 firms with women attorneys appearing in mechanical PTAB proceedings and computer science PTAB proceedings.
