Weil’s global Litigation Department Co-Chair Jonathan Polkes was named 2022 “Securities Litigator of the Year” at Benchmark Litigation’s U.S. Awards.

The publication’s awards recognize “the country’s most distinguished litigators and their firms for their work over the past 12 months.” Jonathan was presented with the distinction at the East Coast awards ceremony on March 24 in New York. He was selected as the sole national winner from a shortlist of six other powerhouse securities litigators from other major firms.

Benchmark Litigation has recognized Jonathan several times, including as among the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America” in 2018-2022 and as “Litigator of the Year” for White Collar Crime in 2018 and 2019.
