Private Equity partner Martin Weatherston-Wilson has been recognized in Law.com International’s 2024 Private Equity Rising Stars power list, which features the top 25 private equity lawyers in the U.K. and Europe. 

This year's 25 rising stars were selected from 17 different firms and 6 countries, with Martin being described as “a vast talent and one of the brightest next-generation private equity lawyers in London.”

After several months of research, the rising stars were selected by Law.com based on a number of qualities including “the scale, significance and complexity of their deals; their client feedback and general market reputation.”

In addition to his client work, Martin is deeply active in contributing to Weil’s inclusive culture particularly through his commitment to mentoring and developing junior lawyers. Martin also co-heads the London Black Lawyers Achieving Success Together (BLAST) affinity group and sits on Weil’s Black Associate and Counsel advisory board to the firm’s Executive Partner, Barry Wolf.
