U.S. Antitrust/Competition practice Co-Head Michael Moiseyev has been shortlisted for Global Competition Review’s “Lawyer of the Year” competition at the GCR Awards 2023.

Michael was noted for his work advising Microsoft, as global lead antitrust counsel, in its pending $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard Inc., and for advising Meta Platforms Inc. in a lawsuit brought by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) seeking to block Meta from acquiring virtual reality company Within Unlimited. He was also praised for winning FTC approval of Meta’s $1 billion acquisition of CRM platform company Kustomer.

Winners are determined via a voting platform on the publication’s website through February 8. Honorees are scheduled to be announced March 28 at the 13th annual GCR Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
