Private Funds partner Stephanie E. Srulowitz has been featured as a Law360 Fund Formation MVP, one of only four lawyers in the U.S. to earn the distinction.
In her interview with the publication, Stephanie elaborated on her proudest moments over the past year, including her work advising Crow Capital Holdings in its $3.1 billion Fund X, Lee Equity Partners in its $1.3 billion Lee Equity Partners Fund IV and Graycliff Partners in a $600 million fundraise.
“Getting to partner with one of the premier real estate funds and help them achieve such a successful fundraiser was a big accomplishment,” Stephanie said of working with Crow Capital Holdings.
She told Law360 that she was drawn to working in private funds early in her career because it offered her a chance to do engaging work.
“I think that there's a real intellectual rigor to what we do,” she said. “We're constantly problem-solving, but also able to build really deep and collaborative relationships with our clients.”
Law360 also highlighted her work as co-chair of Weil’s Task Force on Women’s Engagement and Retention (TOWER), and shared her advice to younger attorneys on the importance of embracing ownership and initiative in their careers.
“As a junior lawyer, it's easy to just do what's asked of you and to go home, but if you want to grow, you need to look for opportunities to understand the big picture,” she told Law360.
