Weil is advising Advent International and portfolio company IRCA on the purchase of the trade and assets of Ireland-based Kerry’s Sweet Ingredients Portfolio. The potential acquisition is expected to occur in the first half of 2023 following the employee consultation and information processes, and receipt of regulatory approvals.

The Weil team is being led by partner Marco Compagnoni with support from counsel Kirstin Fyffe. The team also includes associates Douglas Collins and Lottie Hudson. Weil’s Private Equity, Banking & Finance, Tax, Competition, Employment, Real Estate, Technology and IP practices in the U.K., France, Germany and the U.S. are also assisting on the transaction.
