Weil’s London Restructuring team has been honored at the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe Awards 2024 in the Innovative Lawyers in Restructuring category. The team, alongside White & Case, won the award for advising the bondholders in connection with Zambia’s sovereign debt restructuring. The deal was ranked standout and noted for its innovative use of “step-up bonds.”

The awards recognize the top law firms according to their innovation, people management, social responsibility, digital maturity and financial growth, with the awards dinner taking place at the Natural History Museum on September 12, 2024.
