Weil has been ranked as one of the best law firms for pro bono in the U.K. in Law.com International’s fourth annual list of The Best Law Firms for Pro Bono in the U.K. This is the fourth consecutive year that Weil has received a top-10 ranking, underscoring the Firm’s sustained commitment to pro bono service and leadership in the legal community. The Firm is also noted as reporting the third highest rate of pro bono hours per U.K. fee earner.

The publication highlighted Weil’s work advising the LGBTQI non-profit Micro Rainbow in securing investments. As a result of the funding, the organization now owns 17 properties that provide 20,000 nights of accommodation for LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers annually.

In determining its rankings, Law.com International considers the number of U.K. pro bono hours worked, the pro bono hours per U.K. fee earner, the percentage of U.K. lawyers doing pro bono work, and whether pro bono work counts toward utilization targets.
