Weil has been shortlisted for “Global Law Firm of the Year” at the 2023 Infrastructure Investor Awards. The awards honor the sector’s top managers, investors and advisers who have excelled in their respective fields from across the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
Weil’s dedicated, interdisciplinary team spanning the United States, Europe and Asia, was chosen as a finalist for advising “some of the industry’s biggest names” on many of the most high-profile and complex infrastructure deals across the globe in 2023, including advising Brookfield Business Partners on its $8 billion sale of Westinghouse Electric Company; GIP on the sale of 50 percent of Italian high-speed rail firm Italo Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori; and OMERS and APG’s purchase of Dutch energy solutions business Kenter, among others.
Weil’s global Private Equity Infrastructure team continues to be at the forefront of the industry developments and is widely recognized for its commitment to excellence, strategic growth – including notable recent hires in both the U.S. and U.K. – and the ability to unlock value for clients.
Winners are chosen via voting, which runs until midnight Pacific Standard Time on January 5. Infrastructure Investor will announce the winners in early March.
