NEW YORK, DECEMBER 2, 2024: International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that Victoria Rosamond has joined the Firm as a partner in the Executive Compensation & Benefits Group, based in the New York office.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Victoria to the Firm,” said Weil Executive Partner Barry Wolf. “She is a highly talented practitioner and her hands-on experience advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies across all their benefits matters will be an immediate asset to our clients.”

“Victoria has a wide range of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation and has a stellar reputation among the private equity community,” said Paul Wessel, Co-Chair of Weil’s Tax Department and Head of the Executive Compensation & Benefits Group. “She already has strong connections with many of our partners here at Weil and will be an excellent fit within our team as well as with our clients.”

Victoria’s experience includes the drafting and design of compensation and benefit arrangements for US and multinational public and private companies, including incentive and deferred compensation, bonus, stock option, profits interests, restricted stock and other equity and non-equity-based arrangements, including advising on benefits-related tax and securities law. She is also skilled at drafting and negotiating executive employment, severance, retention, change-in-control, non-competition and waiver and release agreements. In addition, she regularly advises on a variety of compensation, benefit and employment issues raised in the context of corporate transactions, including merger, acquisition, joint venture and other business combinations.

Victoria joins from White & Case LLP, where she was a partner in the Employment, Compensation & Benefits group.

“I am excited by the opportunity to work alongside so many outstanding lawyers at Weil, several of whom are friends and former colleagues,” Victoria said. “I look forward to collaborating with the Private Equity team and other lawyers across the Firm to deliver exceptional service to the Firm’s market-leading clients.”
