Weil’s global Antitrust practice has been recognized in Global Competition Review’s Awards 2024. The team has been shortlisted for advising Microsoft, as global lead antitrust counsel, in its $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard Inc., in 2 Merger Control Matter of the Year awards categories – Americas and Europe and Matter of the Year, a global category which encompasses all forms of antitrust and; advising Meta, as antitrust counsel, on its acquisition of Within, shortlisted for Merger Control Matter of the Year: Americas.

In addition, the following Antitrust partners have been shortlisted: Jenine Hulsmann for Lawyer of the Year, Niklas Maydell for Dealmaker of the Year and Megan Granger for Lawyer of the Year – Under 40.

Winners are determined via a voting platform on the publication’s website through February 12. Honorees are scheduled to be announced April 9 at the 14th Annual GCR Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
