Weil’s Litigation Department secured another year of top honors in the 2024 edition of Benchmark Litigation, and was again listed as a “Top 20 Trial Law Firm.”

The Firm, which Benchmark noted has a “litigation bench [that] is one of the most comprehensive in terms of practice depth,” received Tier 1 National rankings for its Antitrust, Bankruptcy, Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property, Product Liability and Securities Litigation practices. Weil’s New York litigation team was also “Highly Recommended,” and its California and Florida litigation teams continue to be recognized.

Benchmark Litigation also distinguished 33 Weil attorneys with 12 “National Practice Area Star” rankings, 20 “Litigation Star” rankings, two “Labor and Employment Star” rankings and eight “Future Star” rankings. David Lender, Jonathan Polkes and Diane Sullivan were again named among the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers,” a list of elite partners “who have been venerated by peers and clients as being the best in breed at the nuanced practice of trial law,” and five Weil attorneys were named to the “40 & Under List.”   

Benchmark Litigation’s rankings and analysis are based on a six-month research period, which includes an analysis of recent casework as well as interviews with the nation’s leading private practice lawyers and in-house counsel.
