
Asha Menon is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, where she litigates a broad array of complex disputes in state and federal courts around the country.
Asha’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- A major media company in delivering a significant settlement in a civil antitrust litigation brought by a competitor that sought to unwind a joint venture between the top three major players in the sports streaming sector;
- One of the world’s largest manufacturers of artificial turf surfaces in securing a favorable eve-of-trial settlement in a $500 million plus MDL brought by several local school districts;
- A major global e-commerce company in defending multiple litigations alleging contributory trademark and copyright infringement claims;
- A global semiconductor manufacturer in a breach of contract dispute in New York state court brought by a major computer company; and
- Several clients in connection with regulatory review of significant corporate transactions.
Outside of her active practice, Asha represents pro bono clients, including helping students with disabilities receive the services they are entitled to under the IDEA, as well as ongoing work with the Innocence Project. She is an active member of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest’s Pro Bono Advisory Counsel.
Asha received her J.D., Order of the Coif, from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was a Student Writing Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. She received her B.S.Ed, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
