Brigit Crosbie
Brigit is an associate in Weil’s Securities Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits, M&A litigation, and commercial disputes in state and federal courts.

Brigit’s recent notable experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:

  • A cryptocurrency mining company, its officers and directors, in a securities class action and shareholder derivative litigation.
  • Brookfield Asset Management and certain of its affiliates in a consolidated stockholder derivative and class action in Delaware Chancery Court arising out of a June 2018 private placement by TerraForm Power, Inc.
  • Elanco Animal Health in securities class actions arising out of statements made regarding inventory and distribution channels.

Brigit maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing a client seeking post-conviction resentencing under New York’s Domestic Violence Survivors’ Justice Act.

She received her J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where she was a staff member of the Northwestern Law Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and a member of the Northwestern Law Moot Court. Brigit received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago.
