Catherine Cazes is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice where she focuses on litigating a broad array of disputes in state and federal courts nationwide and before arbitration panels.

Catherine’s experience includes serving on Weil teams representing a large technology company in cases challenging the scope of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and a global digital payment technology company in litigation alleging RICO and TVPRA violations.

Catherine’s pro bono practice includes representing currently or formerly incarcerated individuals seeking to enforce their rights under the U.S. Constitution and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act.

Catherine received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as Development Editor of the Annual Survey of American Law. After graduating, Catherine served as a law clerk to the Honorable Eric N. Vitaliano of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received her B.A., cum laude, from Villanova University.
