Biography
Chloe Fife is an associate in Weil’s Securities Litigation practice group, where she focuses on litigating securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, M&A litigation, and other complex business disputes.
Chloe’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- A cryptocurrency conglomerate and its officers and directors, in a securities class action litigation
- Brookfield Asset Management and certain of its affiliates in a consolidated stockholder derivative and class action in Delaware Chancery Court arising out of a June 2018 private placement by TerraForm Power, Inc.
- Churchill Capital Corp III, a SPAC sponsored by Churchill Capital Group, and certain directors in fiduciary duty litigation in Delaware Chancery Court relating to CCIII’s $11 billion merger with MultiPlan, Inc.
Chloe is also involved in the Firm’s pro bono initiatives, including work on an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in Wilkinson v. Garland, on behalf of organizations assisting survivors of domestic violence, regarding the reviewability of immigration determinations under the Violence Against Women Act.
She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as an Article Editor of the Virginia Law Review. She earned her B.S. and B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Utah.
