Elise Simon
Elise Simon is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation and IP/Media practices, where she litigates a broad array of complex disputes in state and federal courts nationwide.

Some of her recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:

  • A global insurance company in a trademark litigation
  • A major publishing company in an antitrust litigation
  • A veterinary healthcare company against claims of conspiracy, tortious interference and unfair competition
  • A Global entertainment and hospitality company in an internal investigation in response to alleged violations of foreign copyright infringement laws

In addition, Elise maintains an active pro bono practice, including recent work with the Public International Law & Policy Group, Brennan Center for Justice, and International Refugee Assistance Project.

Elise received her J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School where she served as an associate editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law and acted as a research assistant aiding in scholarship surrounding intellectual property law and the right of publicity. During her time in law school, she also served as a law clerk to the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, Office of Chair Richard Durbin. She received her B.S., cum laude, from Cornell University.
