Biography
Ian has been a key member of case teams litigating in federal district court, the Federal Circuit, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. His cases have involved fields such as computer image processing, machine learning, geographic information systems, digital video recording, and cooling systems. In addition, he has patent prosecution experience involving technologies such as automotive parts, electrical components, and FinTech.
Ian received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where he was named a Pomeroy Scholar and served as a member of the NYU Law Review. He received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, summa cum laude, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Ian is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
