Biography
Michelle Luo is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Silicon Valley. Michelle participates in the representation of public and private companies in a variety of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity investments and divestitures.
Michelle has been part of the teams advising:
- Genstar Capital in its acquisition of The SEER Group LLC; GS SEER Group Purchaser Corp. in its acquisition of Donley Service Center, Inc.; Clarience Technologies, LLC in its acquisitions of Swordfish Intermediate Holdings, Inc., and Ranger Design, Inc., Ranger Design US, Inc., Al Van Equip NW, Inc. and 9532-1436 Quebec Inc.
- TCV in its investments in Cloudsmith Inc. and LegalZoom.com, Inc.
- Trive Capital and its portfolio company Earthlink, LLC, in its acquisitions of Nextera Holdings, LLC and QX Networking & Design, Inc.
Michelle received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she served as the Co-Chief Managing Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology, and graduated with a Business Law & Policy Specialization. She received her B.A. from Cornell University.
