Biography
Michelle Luo is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Silicon Valley. Michelle participates in the representation of public and private companies in a variety of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity investments and divestitures.
Michelle has been part of the teams advising:
- Clarience Technologies, LLC (a portfolio company of Genstar Capital) in its acquisition of Swordfish Intermediate Holdings, Inc.
- Genstar Capital in its acquisition of The SEER Group LLC
- TCV in its investment in LegalZoom.com, Inc.
Michelle received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she served as the Co-Chief Managing Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology, and graduated with a Business Law & Policy Specialization. She received her B.A. from Cornell University.
