Michelle L Truong
Michelle Truong is an associate in Weil’s Corporate Department and is based in Silicon Valley. Michelle participates in the representation of public and private companies in a variety of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity investments and divestitures.

Michelle has been part of the teams advising on the following matters:

  • GS Amp TopCo LLC (a portfolio company of Genstar Capital) in its acquisition of NEL Frequency Controls, Inc.
  • Infrabridge and its portfolio company ConGlobal (f/k/a ITS ConGlobal) in its investment in Phantom Auto, Inc.
  • Pacific Avenue Capital Partners in its transaction to acquire the filtration business of Sogefi S.p.A.
  • TPG Global in an approximately $365 million Series H funding round for ServiceTitan, Inc.
  • TPG in its investments in RefleXion Medical
  • Trive Capital, together with Crux Capital Ltd, in their recapitalization of HTeaO
  • Corporate subsidiary of publicly-traded asset manager in its acquisition of $110 million of investment tax credits generated by two portfolios of distributed generation solar assets.

Michelle is currently President of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California (VABANC) and was the past Secretary and Mentorship Chair.

Michelle received her J.D., cum laude, from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she graduated Order of the Coif, was the recipient of the Dean’s Leadership Award, and served as Production Editor of the Santa Clara High Technology Law Journal, and Managing Editor of the Santa Clara Journal of International Law. During law school, Michelle also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Beth Labson Freeman, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and to the Honorable Nathan D. Mihara (Ret.), California Court of Appeals, Sixth Appellate District. She received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
