Biography
Nicholas Huang is an associate in Weil’s Private Funds practice and is based in New York. Nicholas participates in the representation of private investment fund sponsors in the formation, structuring and negotiation of their investment funds.
Nicholas has been part of the teams advising:
- Altamont Capital Partners in its close of its first continuation fund extending its investment and partnership with Tacala; and in the formation of Diablo Investment Fund, L.P., a $318 million fund
- Brookfield Asset Management in the formation of Brookfield Technology Growth Partners III, a $550 million fund
- Genstar Capital in the formation of Genstar Capital Partners XI, L.P., a $10.2 billion buyout fund
- Thomas H. Lee Partners in its acquisition of a majority stake in Standish Management
- TRP Capital Partners in its single asset investment in GenOx Transportation
Prior to joining Weil, Nicholas was an Investment Management associate at another international law firm.
Nicholas received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.S. from Cornell University.
