Tiara Bond

Tiara Bond is an associate in Weil's Capital Markets practice and is based in New York. Tiara participates in advising issuers, underwriters and private equity sponsors in connection with public and private offerings of securities and other capital markets transactions. She has been involved in investment grade and high-yield debt offerings as well as primary and secondary equity offerings.

Tiara has been part of the teams advising:

  • Avolon Holdings Limited in multiple senior notes offerings by Avolon Holdings Funding Limited, a direct wholly owned subsidiary of Avolon, with an aggregate deal value of more than $2 billion
  • A major financial institution, as underwriter, in a $110.4 million secondary offering of 4,000,000 shares of common stock of The Vita Coco Company, Inc. by Verlinvest Beverages SA
  • Cedar Fair, L.P., in consent solicitations to certain amendments to four indentures in connection with its $8 billion merger of equals with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation
  • Glencore plc, as investor, in issuance of a $75 million senior secured convertible note and $225 million of amended and restated convertible bonds for Li-Cycle Holdings Corp.
  • Global Aircraft Leasing Co., Ltd. (an affiliate of the HNA Group and the parent of Avolon Holdings Limited) in its $1.1 billion senior secured 144A / RegS notes offering
  • The Kroger Company in a $10.5 billion offering of senior notes to finance a portion of the merger between The Kroger Co. and Albertsons Companies Inc.
  • The dealer managers in a $3.65 billion exchange offer by Microsoft Corporation of new 144A / RegS unsecured senior notes and cash for unsecured notes of Activision Blizzard
  • Talen Energy in each of its $1.4 billion equity rights offering and issuance of $1.2 billion in senior secured notes in connection with its emergence from Chapter 11
  • TE Connectivity plc (f/k/a TE Connectivity, Ltd.), through its wholly owned subsidiary Tyco Electronics Group S.A., as issuer, in a $1.25 billion commercial paper program; in a $350 million issuance of senior notes due 2030; with its re-domestication from Switzerland to Ireland

Tiara received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Auburn University.
