Yuki Zhang
Yuki Zhang is an associate in Weil's Capital Markets practice and is based in New York. Yuki participates in advising issuers, underwriters and private equity sponsors in connection with public and private offerings of securities and other capital markets transactions. She has been involved in investment grade and high-yield debt offerings as well as primary and secondary equity offerings.

Yuki has been part of the teams advising on the following matters:

  • A major financial institution, as underwriter, in a $110.4 million secondary offering of 4,000,000 shares of common stock of The Vita Coco Company, Inc. by Verlinvest Beverages SA.
  • Avolon Holdings Limited in multiple senior notes offerings by Avolon Holdings Funding Limited, a direct wholly owned subsidiary of Avolon, with an aggregate deal value of more than $2 billion
  • Cedar Fair, L.P., in consent solicitations to certain amendments to four indentures in connection with its $8 billion merger of equals with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation
  • First Watch Restaurants Group, Inc. in a $166 million block trade of 6.9 million shares of common stock and in a $158 million block trade of 8,000,000 shares of common stock
  • Global Aircraft Leasing Co., Ltd. (an affiliate of the HNA Group and the parent of Avolon Holdings Limited) in its $1.1 billion senior secured 144A / RegS notes offering
  • Johnson & Johnson in its $4 billion registered offering of U.S. Dollar-denominated notes and an aggregate $2.7 billion registered offering of Euro-denominated notes to fund the acquisition of Shockwave
  • The Kroger Company in a $10.5 billion offering of senior notes to finance a portion of the merger between The Kroger Co. and Albertsons Companies Inc.
  • The dealer managers in a $3.65 billion exchange offer by Microsoft Corporation of new 144A / RegS unsecured senior notes and cash for unsecured notes of Activision Blizzard

Yuki received her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and her M.A. from Columbia University. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Sewanee, The University of the South, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. During her 1L summer, Yuki worked as a judicial intern for Chief Judge Margo K. Brodie in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of New York.
