Restructuring partner David J. Cohen has been named an “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer” for 2023 by Turnarounds & Workouts. He is among just 12 attorneys under the age of 40 recognized for their work in the industry’s most prominent bankruptcies and restructurings.

David was selected for his work representing creditor groups in two of the largest recent chapter 11 cases: Seadrill Limited and Nordic Aviation Capital. The publication also cited his representation of MedMen Enterprises in its restructuring and recapitalization and for advising the equity sponsors of Service King in its out-of-court restructuring.

He also was honored for counseling Redbox Entertainment in connection with its company-saving rescue financing and merger with Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment.
