Turnarounds & Workouts has named Restructuring partner and Houston office Managing Partner Gabriel Morgan as one of its “Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers” for 2024. The annual report features 15 lawyers throughout the U.S. who have worked on the year’s most significant and successful restructurings.

The publication noted Gabe’s many achievements in the last 18 months, including advising SoftBank Vision Fund II-2 L.P. and certain of its affiliates in the chapter 11 cases of WeWork Inc., Serta Simmons Bedding in its chapter 11 and Air Methods Corporation in its restructuring.

Gabe was also honored for successfully representing DRF Logistics, the e-commerce delivery unit of Pitney Bowes Inc. in a voluntary chapter 11 to wind down operations; Adair Winery as the purchaser of certain assets of Meier’s Wine Cellars; and Advent International as equity sponsor in connection with AccentCare’s uptier debt exchange, among other matters.
