The Institute for Energy Law has named Weil Private Equity associate Humzah Yazdani a 2024 “Emerging Star.”

Humzah is one of just three recipients of the honor, which recognizes young energy professionals with six years of industry experience or less. Recipients were chosen for their exceptional client service, advocacy for the energy sector and contributions to the development of other energy lawyers or professionals, among other attributes.

The award will be presented at the Institute for Energy Law’s National Young Energy Professionals’ Law Conference in New Orleans on March 27.
