Restructuring partner Jessica Liou has been named among the “Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers” of 2023 by Turnarounds & Workouts. The annual report features 15 lawyers throughout the United States who have worked on the year’s most significant and successful restructurings.

The publication recognized Jessica for her numerous accomplishments in the last 18 months, including guiding Talen Energy in its $5 billion restructuring and successfully defending before the District Court an appeal of Fieldwood Energy’s confirmation order that approved a chapter 11 plan which resolved over $9 billion in liabilities.

Jessica was also highlighted for representing Digital Currency Group in the jointly administered chapter 11 cases of subsidiary Genesis Global Holdco and affiliated debtors as well as advising Digital Realty and Digital Core REIT as creditors in the chapter 11 cases of Cyxtera Technologies, Inc.
