NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 3, 2024: International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that intellectual property and technology lawyer Max Scott has returned to the Firm as a partner in the Technology & IP Transactions Group, based in the newly-opened San Francisco office.

“Max has built a well-deserved reputation at Weil for his outstanding legal talent, unique skillset and team focus. He was highly regarded by colleagues and clients during his previous tenure at the Firm and we are thrilled to welcome him back,” said Weil Executive Partner Barry Wolf.

“Max’s practice aligns perfectly with the needs of our M&A and private equity clients,” said Michael J. Aiello, Chairman of Weil’s global Corporate Department. “His substantive expertise and knowledge of the firm will make him an immediate and invaluable asset to our global transactional clients.”

He was the sole recipient of Chambers and Partners’ “Associate to Watch” ranking for Technology in California for 2024.
