Weil Bolsters Banking & Finance Practice with Lender-Side Leader Meredith Mackey

NEW YORK, DECEMBER 2, 2024: International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that Meredith Mackey has joined the Firm as a partner in the Banking & Finance practice, based in the New York office.

Meredith advises institutional lenders and underwriters in all types of debt financing transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged loans and high-yield debt. She represents clients across a variety of industries, including natural resources, basic industrials, healthcare and technology. Meredith also has significant experience advising clients in the direct lending markets, including on second lien, mezzanine and subordinated financings. 

Meredith joins from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where she was a partner in the Corporate department. She had also previously served as vice president at Goldman Sachs.
