The New York Law Journal has named Candace Arthur, Restructuring partner, and Robert Niles-Weed, partner in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation and Appeals and Strategic Counseling practices, as “Rising Stars” as part of the publication’s 2024 Legal Awards.

Appeals and Strategic Counseling partner Adam Banks was also named a finalist for “Diversity Initiative,” in recognition of his work as Co-Chair of Weil’s Diversity Committee.

The awards honor “attorneys and judges who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession in New York.”

Candace and Robert are among 30 New York lawyers aged 40 and under to receive the “Rising Star” honor and Adam is one of 11 individuals or organizations shortlisted for the diversity award.

The winner of the “Diversity Initiative” contest will be announced and all honorees will be recognized at the New York Legal Awards on September 5.
