Weil has been shortlisted for seven awards at the 2025 IFLR Americas Awards, highlighting the Firm’s expertise and involvement in “the most innovative cross-border” transactions from 2024.
Restructuring partner Gary Holtzer (former Co-Chair of the Department) has been named a finalist for the “Dealmakers Hall of Fame: United States” and the Firm was named a finalist for “Restructuring Team of the Year.”
Weil was also recognized for its work advising SoftBank Group Corp., SoftBank Vision Fund II-2 L.P. and certain of its affiliates as the largest creditor in the chapter 11 cases of WeWork Inc. in the “Restructuring Deal of the Year” category.
The Firm was shortlisted for advising Sanofi in its $2.2 billion acquisition of Inhibrx, Inc. in the “M&A Deal of the Year” category.
Additionally, Weil was shortlisted for three “Law Firm of the Year – U.S. Domestic: Best in State” recognitions: California, Massachusetts and Texas.
International Financial Law Review based the shortlist for its annual Americas Awards on independent research, consisting of submissions and interviews with lawyers across the industry.
