BOSTON, NOVEMBER 15, 2023: International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that Peter J. Mee has joined the Firm as a partner in its Employment Practice Group, based in the Boston office. Peter will be focusing on transactional labor and employment matters, working closely with Weil’s Employment, Private Equity and M&A practices.

Peter advises a wide range of corporate clients on high-profile transactions, negotiating and drafting complex employment agreements, onboarding executives, and managing executive separations. His practice covers all employment-related issues associated with the lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, employment components of purchase agreements, transition services and contribution agreements. He also counsels clients on a variety of employment law compliance matters, such as harassment prevention, anti-discrimination, litigation avoidance, restrictive covenant enforcement, and wage and hour matters.
Peter joins Weil from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he was a partner in the Employment & Labor practice focused on Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies.
