Weil’s global Antitrust practice received two awards at Global Competition Review’s GCR Awards 2025.

The Firm was honored in the “Merger Control Matter of the Year – Europe” category for its work on the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority’s groundbreaking clearance of the Vodafone and Three UK joint venture, advising Virgin Media O2. As part of the deal, Virgin Media O2 agreed to extend and enhance its existing Beacon mobile network sharing agreement with Vodafone for more than a decade, bolstering quality mobile coverage across the country and delivering improved services for customers.

Weil was also selected in the “Litigation of the Year – Non-Cartel Prosecution” category for serving as counsel to Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. in an antitrust dispute with competitor Novartis AG, in which Weil secured a key reversal at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Winners were announced at the 15th Annual GCR Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 1.
