Biography
Alexandra Cline is an associate in Weil’s Employment Practice Group, where she focuses on litigating and counseling on a variety of labor and employment law issues, including restrictive covenants, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Alexandra also has experience conducting internal investigations and performing due diligence in the context of corporate transactions.
Additionally, Alexandra maintains an active pro bono practice, including work for the Innocence Project. Alexandra also serves on a Weil team that recently filed a petition for certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the denial of a criminal defendant’s Sixth Amendment confrontation rights.
Prior to joining Weil, Alexandra served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Paul B. Matey of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she served as managing online editor of the Notre Dame Law Review. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from Washington and Lee University.
