Biography
Ann is also Weil’s Chief of Strategic Initiatives. In this role, she oversees the Firm’s social responsibility and philanthropic initiatives, including the Weil Foundation, and provides strategic leadership and management for complex and high-stakes projects on behalf of the Firm, including heading up the renovation of the Firm’s headquarters. Previously, Ann was the Firm’s Chief Business Development Officer. In that capacity, she led the Firm’s business development, marketing and communications activities. Before that, Ann was the Director of Administration, working closely with Weil’s Executive Director on a broad range of significant projects.
Prior to joining Weil, Ann was a Managing Director in the Legal & Compliance Department of Bear Stearns, the Head of Business Development for the New York office of the global law firm Linklaters, and the Director of Development at the Urban Justice Center, a nonprofit legal services organization. Before leaving the practice of law, Ann was a litigator at Shearman & Sterling, which she joined following a Motions clerkship at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Ann is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and a cum laude graduate of American University's Washington College of Law, where she was an editor of the Law Review.
