Biography
Ben Weinstein is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in New York. Ben participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and general corporate matters.
Ben has been part of the teams advising:
- Aterian Investment Partners in its acquisition of Outlook Group
- Bain Capital and Pine Island Capital Partners in the sale of Precinmac to Centerbridge Partners
- Cove Hill Partners in its acquisition of Incident IQ, LLC
- CVC Capital Partners and its portfolio company Radwell International in the acquisition of Electrical Source Holdings (a portfolio company of Greenbriar Equity, Emerald Lake Capital and Golub Capital)
- TPG in connection with the merger of its portfolio company Keter Environmental Services with Waste Harmonics
Ben received his J.D., cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a Samuel & Ronnie Heyman Center on Corporate Governance Scholar, and served as an Associate Editor of the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. He received his B.A. from Connecticut College.
