Devin. Burdo
Devin W. Burdo is an associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil’s New York office.

Devin received his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal and Director of Alumni Affairs for the Hofstra Moot Court Board.  At Hofstra, Devin received the Benjamin Weintraub & Alan N. Resnick Bankruptcy Law Award for excellence in bankruptcy studies and his leadership as coach of Hofstra’s Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition Team.  Devin received his B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College, where he was a member of the football and men’s lacrosse teams. 

Prior to joining Weil, Devin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mary F. Walrath of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

  • Avon Products, Inc., holding company of the Avon International beauty brand, and its affiliated debtors, in connection with its chapter 11 cases, with approximately $1.3 billion in funded debt and significant potential mass tort liabilities.
