Biography
Edward advises on a broad range of structured finance and securitisation transactions across different asset classes including structured credit programmes, performing and non-performing loan portfolio financings, RMBS master trust securitisation programmes, CLOs, structured warehouse finance arrangements, trade receivables financings and esoteric asset classes.
Representative experience includes:
- Advising Guggenheim Securities on Syco Entertainment’s (Simon Cowell) first-of-its-kind securitisation of intellectual property rights relating to the Got Talent Franchise
- Advising a private fund on rare public NPL securitisations of Spanish residential mortgage claims, including the €626.8m European Residential Loan Securitisation (ERLS) 2021-NPL1
- Advising KKR funds and accounts managed by its credit business on the provision of non-recourse financing to TalkTalk collateralized by trade receivables
- Advising numerous CLO managers including Carlyle, RBC BlueBay, Fair Oaks, Guggenheim Partners, Pemberton and Brigade Capital on CLO transactions
- Acting on public and private securitisations; acting as both originator/borrower and arranger/lender counsel
