Erik Zimmerman
Erik Zimmerman is an associate in Weil’s Banking & Finance practice and is based in New York. Erik participates in advising borrowers, private equity sponsors, banks and other financial institutions in a variety of financing transactions, including first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings, cross-border and domestic acquisition financings and debt restructuring transactions.

Erik has been part of the teams advising:

  • Advent International and its portfolio company in connection to its senior secured term and revolving facility to finance its acquisition of Maxar Technologies Inc.
  • ATI Physical Therapy Inc. (a publicly traded company backed by Advent International) in its incremental second lien secured subordinated facility
  • Dayforce, Inc. (f/k/a Ceridian HCM Holding Inc.) in a $1 billion senior secured term loan and revolving facility
  • Howden Group Holdings Limited in a $4.7 billion incremental senior secured term loan and revolving facility for its subsidiaries Hyperion Refinance S.à r.l and HIG Finance 2 Limited and a $4 billion incremental senior secured term loan facility for its subsidiaries Hyperion Refinance S.à r.l and HIG Finance 2 Limited
  • JPMorgan Chase, as administrative agent and lender, in approximately $3.5 billion amended and extended senior unsecured revolving facilities for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and as administrative agent, in a $205 million increase in the senior unsecured revolving facility for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.
  • Lasership, Inc. (a portfolio company of American Securities) in a senior secured term loan and revolving facility
  • OUTFRONT Media, Inc., representing the initial purchasers, in a $450 million senior secured 144A/Reg S senior secured notes offering
  • Portillo’s Holdings, LLC, the owner and operator of a chain of casual restaurants, in its $400 million senior secured credit facilities
  • Regis Corporation in its $130 million senior secured term loan and revolving facility

Erik received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a Stonewall Scholar and a Norval Morris Fellow, his M.A. from the New School for Social Research and his B.A. from Southern Illinois University.
