Biography
Erin Bertens is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Erin participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Erin has been part of the teams advising:
- ChampionX Corporation in its pending sale to SLB
- EQT Partners Inc. in its take-private acquisition of BTRS Holdings Inc. (Billtrust) valued at $1.7 billion
- ILEGAL Mezcal in its sale to Bacardi Limited
- Sanofi in its sale of Enjaymo® to a subsidiary of Recordati Industrai Chimica E Farmacuetica S.p.A.
- Sculptor Capital Management Inc. in its sale to Rithm Capital Corp. in a transaction valued at approximately $719.8 million
- Sunoco LP in its approximately $7.3 billion acquisition of NuStar Energy L.P.
- Willis Towers Watson PLC in its $632 million sale of TRANZACT to GTCR and Recognize
Erin received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School where she was a Dean’s Letter recipient and served as Senior Editor on the Osgoode Hall Law Journal. She previously received her M.P.A. from Queen’s University and her H.B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Toronto.
