Biography
Ian Roberts is an associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil’s New York office.
Ian received his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law and his B.S. from the University of Florida. Prior to joining Weil, Ian served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rebecca B. Connelly of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia, and was an associate in the bankruptcy and creditors’ rights team of another law firm in New York City.

Debtor/Company-Side Experience:
- Cano Health Inc., one of the largest independent primary care medical service provider groups in the United States, in its chapter 11 cases with approximately $1.5 billion in funded debt.
- Tradesmen International LLC, an industry leader in skilled trades staffing, in connection with an out-of-court financial restructuring that significantly reduced the company’s debt and raised new equity capital.
- AYR Wellness in connection with its debt exchange and new-money financing under the CBCA.
- A leading provider of fiber network solutions in connection with its out-of-court recapitalization of nearly $1 billion in existing debt and over $100 million of new capital.
- Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC, one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of mattresses in North America, in connection with its chapter 11 case with approximately $1.9 billion in debt obligations.
- Talen Energy Supply, LLC, a power generation and infrastructure company in North America, in its chapter 11 cases with approximately $5 billion in funded debt obligations.
